It's been an phenomenal year for Mullingar's Niamh Algar!
She was named one of Bafta's Breakthrough Stars, and featured on the Radio Times' top 100 TV stars of 2019 along with the likes of Phoebe Waller-Bridge, David Attenborough and Vicky McLure.
Niamh stopped by the studio today to fill Mairead in on her new film 'The Last Right' which also features Colm Meaney and Brian Cox, and is out today.
They also chatted about working Ridley Scott's on 'Raised By Wolves' which was an amazing experience for Niamh who is a huge fan of Ridley's.
She's such a big fan in fact, that she named her pet pony Maximus after the character in his film 'Gladiator'! She kept that bit of information to herself though, until now!
