This week has been especially tough on a lot of people, but there’s one woman in Ireland who wants to let people know that we will get through this, and there are little things in life to celebrate.
The woman’s name is Nancy Stewart and next week she turns 107 years old. Her granddaughter Louise joined Mairead on the show to chat about what life is like living with her granny who she calls a "real life miracle".
Nancy's secret to a long life is don't stress or worry, anything that will happen to you, you will be able to handle it. And Nancy knows a thing or two about that, she has lived through 2 World Wars, the Civil war in Ireland, Irish independence, multiple recessions and now a second global pandemic!
If you want to wish Nancy well for her birthday next week, you can send a video or a message to nancyturns107@gmail.com.
Granny Nancy will be 107 years young on the 16th of October. Love if you wanted to join in our celebrations!Me&gran intend to lift the country’s spirits! We are going to inject the country with positivity & magic & no virus is going to beat us!please share the love! 💖 pic.twitter.com/3nWP9kg7x0
