When Covid put an end to her travel plans earlier this year, Louth woman Luisa Murray found herself back at home with her parents wondering what to do next. Then the designer found some vintage fabric and decided to do something with it, and Lulabelle was born!
Luisa used the beautiful fabric to start making corsets, and after setting up a studio in the shed and a few well placed sponsored posts on Instagram, Lulabelle has taken off and Luisa has been receiving orders from around the world.
The corsets are hand made and custom made to order, and the whole process is completely sustainable - nothing bought is new and Luisa has minimal waste by finding a use for the scraps left over.
