There's nothing like a proud Irish Mammy - after Emma in Longford tweeted about her son Connor, he became a bit of an overnight sensation and Mairead just had to have him on the show for a chat.
My 23yr old knocked on the door of our 85yr old neighbour last March to see could he help him. He's been looking after him ever since & today is bringing him for his 1st vaccine. A big day for both! #AGreatDayForTheParish #Proud #NeighboursBecomeGoodFriends #Hope

Connor got to know his 86-year-old neighbour Paddy when he got a job in the local shop, and at the start of the pandemic he dropped in to Paddy too see if he needed any help and the two have been great friends ever since.
Paddy has lived in the area for more than 40 years and is a bit of a local legend, and he's been sharing amazing stories with Connor about the town and everyone in it.
Connor has been picking up groceries, prescriptions and even Paddy's pension for him, and this week Connor brought Paddy to get his Covid vaccine!
Connor said it's not a task for him to do these things for Paddy, he gets a lot out of their friendship too and calling in might only take him 5 minutes but that means the world to Paddy. Wise words we all needed to hear!
