Did you know that Dolly Parton is set to give 3,000 children in Cork free books to build their own library at home? Grace Walsh from the Young Knocknaheeny community group joined Mairead on the show to tell her all about it.
It's part of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library Initiative which was set up in 1995. The initiative came to Tallaght, Dublin in February 2019 and almost 87,000 children's books have been gifted through the programme so far!
The project is completely free to families, they can sign up their kids and up until the age of 4 they will receive their very own free book every month. This will help them start their very own library and build a great relationship with reading too.
