If you start seeing Vikings walking around Malin Head in Donegal, don’t worry - it’s just another Hollywood blockbuster being filmed in what is now a go-to location for movie makers!
Local man Ali Farren from the Ardmalin Caravan Park is Pamela Joyce's spy on the ground and he gave her the inside scoop on the film crew that started setting up in the past week for The Northman.

'The Northman' was originally supposed to be filmed in Iceland, so when the crew went looking for beautiful scenery they naturally went for Donegal! It has an incredible cast including Nicole Kidman, Bill and Alexander Skarsgård and Willem Dafoe to name a few.
So only a few years after the Millennium Falcon appeared in the area, Malin Head will be featured in all its glory in yet another Hollywood film!
