We've seen a lot of film releases being postponed recently due to Covid-19 restrictions, and of course there have been no red carpets or film premieres, but one Irish film has found a way to have a premiere and maintain social distancing!
'Dannyboy' is set in a small Irish town in 1981, and tells the story of a young man trying to find love among New Romantics, Post Punks, Goths and other tribes. One of the stars of the film, Clelia Murphy, joined Mairead on the line today to tell her about the premiere that we're all invited to!
They've decided to release the film on Facebook for all to watch for free this Friday at 7pm, and producers are encouraging film fans to dress up in their finest 80's outfits for the occasion.
