Earlier in the week when the temperatures dropped to minus 3 or 4 and we were all wrapped up in our woolies, one group of women embraced the ice and went for a swim in Lough Owel in Mullingar!
Anna Browne is a member of the Lakeland Chilly Dippers and she joined Mairead on the show to chat about why she loves being out in nature, even if it's freezing cold.
Anna said the hardest part of the swim is actually getting undressed, and once you're in it's like a complete reset and you can't think of anything else so it's a great zen feeling.
Anna is also a farmer and grows flowers which she sells on Neighbourfood.ie where she is also a host for Mullingar and Ballymahon.
Neighbourfood is available all around the country - you can see what's on offer in your area and buy some gorgeous local produce which is all made to order so there's zero waste.
