The IFTA's took place on Sunday night hosted by Deirdre O'Kane, and writer and actor Mark O'Halloran was a double winner on the night! Mark joined Mairead on the show to fill her in on the glamourous virtual event which he attended from home with his cat.
Mark won Best Scriptwriter for his movie 'Rialto', which was only in cinemas for three days before they all had to close down, but you can still watch it on Volta or IFI at Home.
Mark also won Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Drama for 'The Virtues', he said it was an incredible experience getting to work with his hero Shane Meadows and also doing head-to-head scenes with Stephen Graham.
Mark's next project is a lot lighter, he is back working with Lenny Abrahamson co-writing the TV adaptation of Sally Rooney's 'Conversations With Friends'. There's a lot of pressure on since the massive success of 'Normal People' - the show that finally got Irish people to be seen as sexy!
