As the majority of us are being forced to stay at home, we’ve all been having a good nosey into people’s homes through their videos and photos on social media over the last month. It's great timing that the Home of Year final is on TV tonight, and today judge Deirdre Whelan joined Mairead for a chat!
The 21 homes from the beginning of the series have been whittled down to 7, and tonight Deirdre along with fellow judges Hugh Wallace and Peter Crowley will reveal the winner.
Deirdre is an interior designer, and she told Mairead that while a house may have a beautiful architectural design, that's not what she looks for - it's all about personality and she wants to see a home rather than a house.
