While most of us have been just trying to keep our heads above water over the last few months, one woman hasn’t stopped trying to help others – in fact she only went and raised €5.5 million for charity last week! The wonderful Deirdre O'Kane joined Mairead on the show today to chat about what's next.
Deirdre isn't stopping after the phenomenal work she did with RTÉ's Comic Relief fundraiser, she's launching a new online lottery called Fair Play To You which raises money for the Central Remedial Clinic, Rehab, and the Mater University Hospital and you could win up to €25,000 on it!
Aside from spearheading new ways to raise money for charities, Deirdre has spent lockdown cooking more and really enjoying it! Although she has taken a break now and eaten nothing but spice bags for 3 days now...
