Irish movie royalty Colm Meaney is far from home at them moment, he's currently filming in Portugal.
Colm is best known for his roles in The Snapper, Star Trek ,Layer Cake and Con Air – but his latest role sees him wearing a very famous red suit.
He has donned a white beard and is making us feel all warm and fuzzy inside in Aldi’s new Kevin the Carrot Christmas ad.
With the Home Alone soundtrack and references to Top Gun and E.T, we are getting all the Christmas feels!
Colm also spoke about how is daughter Brenda is following in his footsteps, saying that the New York based actress is well aware of the highs and lows of the movie industry.
Living on the island of Majorca with his wife and other daughter, Colm spent lockdown wearing shorts in the sun. His wife also had him finally getting around to doing all the bits and bobs around the house, including picking almonds and olives.
With the US presidential election count still ongoing, Colm says he was feeling depressed about the possibility of Trump getting another term. He couldn’t understand how so many Americans could vote ‘for a man as repugnant as Trump’.
