We all need to hear a bit of good news right now, and someone who is absolutely bursting with positivity is Catherine Leddy in Cavan. Catherine and her husband managed to open a new business in the last month, the lovely Drumlane Bar.

Drumlane Bar is about 100 years old and was for sale for the last few years, and Catherine didn't want to see it lost so she decided to buy it. She also knows the importance of having somewhere like it in their small rural village.

The whole community has been invaluable in helping her to get up and running - she has everyone including her uncle who's a retired chef pitching in, and it has been so successful she has even managed to being forward her plans and opened a Bistro/restaurant element to the pub!
