After Covid forced them to cancel their wedding three times, French couple Nico and Justine finally tied the knot yesterday - in Dublin airport! Nico joined Mairead on the line to tell the story of how their airport wedding came to be.
The couple were originally due to get married at the end of April and because the marriage paperwork expires after 6 months, Nico and Justine had to work out a way to get married in the next couple of weeks.
After trying many pubs and hotels with no luck, Nico had the idea that since they have both travelled so much, why not try somewhere that's always open - the airport!
Thanks to the incredible work from Siobhán at the DAA, the couple tied the knot in the airport and even had a guard of honour from the Fire Brigade.
