At the beginning of June Mairead Ronan spoke to a man who set up the 100k in 30 days challenge.
Niall has been involved in organising 100K in 30 Days for the past few years,
This year he organised the challenge for the month of June to raise funds for Breast Cancer Ireland following his wife Cara's diagnosis in 2019.
Niall asked people to sign up to walk or run 100km during the month of June to raise much needed funds for Breast Cancer Ireland.
You have to crawl, walk or run 100km in 30 days and you compete virtually against your friends, family, colleagues, neighbours, clubs around the country and worldwide.
Here's how Niall was getting on a couple of days into his challenge.
23 days later Mairead Ronan caught up with Niall, and by this stage there had been a phenomenal response with 14,900 signed up across 34 countries and they have logged 1 million kilometres.
Incredibly, people have raised a whopping €1 million at only 23 days in!
