On the 30th of April, 1952, Mr Potato Head became the first toy ever advertised on national television.

Things were a little different back then though with the box containing the body and all the limbs/features. It was up to you to get a spud and stick them on to it.

A creepy enough looking toy if ya ask me.

Dave's World also taught us our new favourite Korean word (not that we know any others) - 'sohwakhaeng' - which means, 'small but certain happiness'. You know - a cup of tea, your favourite bar, something little that brings a huge amount of comfort in every day life.

There's also a 'Spy hotline', the reason Nintendo called their gorilla 'Donkey Kong' and the medical name for your butt crack.

Good man Dave. Keep the trivia coming!!
