Getting into spats online and muting or blocking people has become the norm for a lot of people who have very strong views. But, what if you had to sit down with someone who had views that were totally opposing to you and have a meal?

A brand new Irish TV show looks to do just that.

'Eating With The Enemy' is coming to Virgin Media Television next month and will see very opinionated sit down for dinner with someone who has the polar opposite view to them.

The idea is to take the heat from the conversation and try to find some common ground, and perhaps a better understanding.

Dr Malie Coyne is a clinical psychologist and appears in the show, she spoke to Dermot and Dave about the importance of seeing other view points.
