Just outside Cloughjordan in Tipperary, there is a remarkable place that is trying to change the way we look at living.
Since 1999, the people involved in the village have been trying to establish a village that reflects a more sustainable, more eco-friendly way of life.
Cloughjordan Eco Village was established in 1999, with the first residents moving in back in 2009. Now, 55 families live in the village which has a community farm, a bakery, and some stellar broadband!
Speaking to Dermot and Dave, Iva Pocock, one of the founders and a resident of Cloughjordan Eco Village explained what's involved, what life is like in the village and what can be learned from it.
