Bold doggy!
We've always known dogs are pretty smart, but new research from the UK and US has found that they use their 'puppy dog eyes' to manipulate humans.
They have evolved muscles around their eyes, allowing them to make expressions that are particularly appealing to us.
A small facial muscle allows dog eyes to mimic an "infant-like" expression which prompts a "nurturing response".
Dermot and Dave chat to dog behaviourist Suzie Walsh (from dogbehaviour.ie) about this cunning piece of evolution and how they have been "practising it for hundreds and hundreds of years).
