How Will Santa Find Us?
Today on Dermot and Dave Ste Rogers and Shane O'Brien dropped into studio to tell the lads about their new book, How Will Santa Find Us?
The pair who both work in advertising decided to create the book after seeing the very upsetting images were taken of a family last year who had to sleep in a Garda station.
While chatting in their Whatsapp group the lads started to brainstorm ideas of how they could help support the homeless families in Ireland.
A Christmas book was born
Ste and Shane decided they would create a Christmas book and donate all the proceeds to Focus Ireland.
After a lot work planning the plot of the book, Ste and Shane knew they needed it to have amazing illustrations.
Instead of choosing the drawings themselves, they decided to include illustrators from all over the country to include their creative touch to the project.
The Story
When their family loses their home, a little girl and her younger brother are left with nowhere to stay for Christmas. As they move from place to place, their parents distract them by taking them on a journey through their imaginations.
They climb mountains on a friend’s couch and they become ghosts in a hotel lobby.
But with all this moving around how will Santa find them?
