"I can't wait to see the back of football"

Racial abuse is nothing new in sport but you would think that in today's day and age, as we're meant to be evolving as human beings, it wouldn't be as rife, but that's far from the case.

England and Tottenham defender Danny Rose was the main focus on the sports sections of all the papers today after saying he, "can't wait to see the back of football".

This comes off the back of England's 1-5 win against Montenegro at the Podgorico City Stadium at the end of last month, where several of the England players were victim to racist chants during the Euro 2020 qualifier.

Today FM Sport and OffTheBall.com's Will O'Callaghan explores the scenario on Dermot and Dave, where he and the lads also take a look at the ripple of racism spread through the Italian football leagues.

And we don't have to look much further than our own doorsteps here in Ireland to experience discrimination.
