''I know what I don't have but I do know what I have and that helps push us forward''
In 2015 Susan Rogers lost her husband Damien to sudden adult death syndrome. Susan and Damien have two daughters Katelyn and Charlotte who are both in secondary school in Dundalk. Susan works as a clinical Nurse in the Hermitage Medical Clinic in Dublin and said that her work family along with her own got her through these last few years.
Susan joined Dermot and Dave too share her tragic story and how they have all coped over the last number of years without Damien. Susan highlights the fantastic work that Rainbows Ireland do with providing help to young children and families who are suffering with a bereavement.
Listening to this interview, it makes you realise that family is very special and to take nothing for granted. In an effort to try and bring a smile to the Rogers' faces, the Dermot and Dave campervan of Christmas cheer had a nice surprise for the three of them and it's the very least they deserved.
