Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland are training dogs to help children with autism in their daily lives. The dogs are trained to keep the children safe when out and about, reducing the risk of 'bolting' as well as helping to promote a sense of calmness.

Speaking to Dermot and Dave, Dorota Ryan from Wicklow explained the difference Autumn has made to her son Joseph.
However, the waiting list is long, and Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland are running their 'Be A SuPAW' hero campaign to raise much needed funds for training.
Trainer Suzanne Mahony explained the process, as well as how they pair the children with the dogs.
