There are best friends who will be there when you need a rant, there are best friends who will come collect you from the airport after your holliers, and then there are best friends who will spend an entire weekend in your back garden building you a bespoke 'outdoor room'.
Dave Moore is one of those friends. When Dermot asked him to build a new room in his back garden, DIY mad Dave was only too happy to gather a gang of other building enthusiasts and get to work.
We had advice from former Room to Improve Quantity Surveyor Lisa O'Brien, Diarmuid Gavin shared some 'tips' but once the work started, it was all on Dave. And Dermot, who went for dinner, and meditated and did make some tea. Apparently.
All weekend, powered by tea and sausage sambos, Dave and his mates spent HOURS constructing this absolute beaut.
