"I want to be a comedian" "Why?" "I want people to hate me"
Seann Walsh joined Dermot & Dave live from the Vodafone Comedy Carnival last week.
The comedian was in for a chat ahead of his shows at the festival, but it quickly turned into a "therapy session".
Brilliant chat with @seannwalsh (who was definitely not on Family Guy) 😂 - be sure to check out the podcast on https://t.co/NNGof3SLAH or wherever you get your podcasts shortly!@DermotTodayFM @DaveTodayFM @galwaycomedy pic.twitter.com/uo3wauhMyr

Seann has been at the centre of some controversy following his appearance on Strictly Come Dancing last year.
Four weeks into the show pictures emerged online of him and his dancing partner Katya Jones sharing a kiss outside a pub.
Both were in serious relationships at the time.
The story was all over the internet and tabloids, leaving Seann afraid to say anything that could be spun into headlines.
However, hoping to take back ownership of the story, Seann embarked on a new show in Edinburgh this year in which he shares his side of the story.
Speaking about the show he said:
“I was proud of it. It would get standing ovations on most nights which felt amazing to get that reaction to something that was so painful and miserable. To try and take back some ownership of who you are.”
