A rare glimpse into the lives of 'The Borrowers'
We've all been stuck for a few quid over the years and one of the best places to get a loan in Ireland is your local Credit Union. They're only delighted to CU there.
Now, in what is a fascinating concept, RTÉ have produced a new show that brings us a fly-on-the-wall account of what goes on in the Credit Union loan office.
Called 'The Borrower', there's everything from a father and son duo looking to get funds for a new car - to a man who needs eye-saving surgery.
It starts this Tuesday, April 16th, at 8:30pm on RTÉ One.
