And no, your presence is NOT enough!

"How much should I/we give them?" is one of the most common questions people ask when attending a wedding. We've all been there, right?

It can even cause heated debates, especially between couples.

With so many things to take into consideration (e.g., is it home or abroad? How well do you know them?) majority of us are torn between being seen as a tight-arse or else being too generous. So is there a happy medium?

Today FM listener Carina found herself in this position with her friend's nuptials soon taking place in Italy.

Speaking on Dermot and Dave, Carina says, "I haven't been to a wedding for so long. Just wondering what the protocol is as to the value of a gift?".

The lads team up with our other listener's suggestions to discuss re-gifting and other types of loopholes but the bottom line is that cash is king - so forget that wedding list nonsense.

Texter Seán's idea is my fave. That lad is way ahead of the curve!

Check out the fun in full by pressing the play button on screen. It may just save you a few quid for the next wedding.
