Lifelong iPhoner Dermot Whelan has made the change...and loves it!
It’s one of the most important, divisive questions our society faces today - "Are you Android or iPhone?".
iOS users tend to snub their noses at us free-spirited, fun-loving Androids (I've never delved into the Apple world), whereas Android users are kinda meh about the more sophisticated iPhone way of life.
Dermot and Dave co-host Dermot Whelan decided to make the blasphemous crossover after he was given a Google Pixel 4 XL to try out.
He's only had it a couple of days but is already loving what it has to offer:
Today FM's Tech Engineer, Paul Bonass popped into studio to chat to the lads about the pros and the cons to each side of the smartphone divide, but himself and Dave are such Apple-worshippers that they may as well change their surnames to 'Jobs'.
Speaking of his former love (iPhone), Dermo says, "I have realised that we have been sold a complete dog for ages".
But will the newfound augmented reality and transcription recorder apps be enough to win him over in the long run?
