Lockdown is driving us all a little bit mad, and the same can be said for our pets.
One of Ireland's leading vets Pete Wedderburn spoke to Dermot & Dave this morning about what life is life for the animals in our life at the moment, as they are now becoming used to having us around the house all the time.
According to Pete, because dogs are pack animals, lots of dogs are loving their owners being home during the lockdown. But, changes are stressful for dogs so while they might love it at the moment, as normality begins to resume and they’ll find the changes really hard.
Cats are very different to dogs but one thing they have in common is that they love routine. While dogs will be delighted to have you home all the time, chances are cats will be very stressed by all the change.
