When Mick Cassidy was growing up in Dublin he loved nothing more than drawing and dinosaurs, but he could never have imagined that his first job would be working on an animated feature about dinosaurs.
Making the bold decision to leave school, Mick went to work with Bluth animations working on films like 'The Land Before Time' and 'All Dogs Go to Heaven'
Speaking to Dermot and Dave, the Dubliner explained how he went from working here in Dublin to Phoenix and then on to Los Angeles where he's worked on films like 'The Prince of Egypt' and 'The Tigger Movie'.
For over 15 years however, Mick has been working on one of the biggest animated series in the world, Family Guy.
Mick joined Dermot and Dave to explain how he landed the gig on Family Guy, what it's like working on such a massive show and how he spent the day hanging around with Dave Grohl before getting his beard shaved by James Hetfield from Metallica.
