'Ma's On A Mission' has almost 100,00 female members
Suzanne Burke runs the non-profit Ma's On A Mission page on Facebook. It has almost 100k female members who talk about everything from kids to strange rashes to relationship problems and anything else you could possibly think of.
If you're looking for a "fun but crazy place to vent and chat, ask advice, seek support and have the craic", then this is the place!
Contrary to what the name suggests, it is NOT a mothers group, and may not be for everyone (especially if you're easily offended) as it has many different opinions and strong language.
However it is a very large group and therefore they have rules in place and ask that you please read these before joining. They do not allow bullying, naming and shaming, racist or homophobic comments. Advertising of businesses, pages, groups etc. is not allowed by members and will result in blocking.
The thing is, it's soooo juicy!
Suzanne chats to Today FM's Dermot and Dave about her creation and reveals what it's like policing such a dynamic platform with only a team of 8.
on average we get between 150,000 & 200,000 comments per week
She also reveals the extent some fellas have gone to, to try and infiltrate the group, and asks for help for their Xmas Toy Appeal, which aims to aid over 100 charities in Ireland provide toys for struggling families this Christmas:
