He was chosen out of 37,000 Irish & UK applicants
Most of us have dreamt (and will continue to dream) of winning the lotto and travelling the world at our leisure right? Well for one lucky Irish travel enthusiast, he didn't even have to pick out six numbers.
Harry McNulty is a 26-year-old rugby professional from Dublin, who in the past few days has been selected as the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line 'Shore Explorer'. And it's even more epic than it sounds.
The wait is finally over – say hello to our ultimate adventure seeker.
The successful candidate who’ll be joining us this summer as our Shore Explorer Apprentice is Harry McNulty (@saltynuts_) 👏✈️🏆

As the luxury liner's precious 'Shore Explorer' Harry has the challenge of searching for new land-based experiences that will help Royal Caribbean develop their excursion programme.
Imagine getting the opportunity to explore the likes of Japan, Alaska, Norway, Dubai, Portugal and the Bahamas (to name a few) for free, and getting a sum of €6,600 at the end of it? The total cost of the excursion is valued at €118,000. That's nearly as much as I make *laughs hysterically
But how did he win it?
Speaking on Dermot and Dave, McNulty tell us how he owes it to his aunty Siobhán, "she sent me a link basically saying this job is up for grabs...you'd be the perfect man for the job".
Harry talks us through the selection process, where he beat 37,000 applicants from Ireland & the UK.
I made a video and just stuck it on and said let's see what happens
Being a player on the Irish National Rugby Sevens team also helped him tackle the opposition, allowing him the chance to see lots of our lovely little planet, which was a big part of the criteria needed.
And a huge congrats to the lads on qualifying for the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series 2020. Even more touring to look forward to Har!!
