"Row, Row, Row Your Boat" is one of the most popular nursery rhymes out there and tonight (August 19th) a man by the name of Gerry Hussey is turning it into reality.
For him, life is but a dream; a dream where he believes everyone should be the best version of themselves.
Gerry is a Performance Psychological Consultant and Motivational Speaker who has been at the forefront of building high performance teams, organisations and individuals across the globe.
His vast experience has led teams to success at Olympic Games, Heineken Cups, World Cups and All-Ireland Championships and now he has had to face his own demons to try and conquer the Irish Sea.
Speaking on Today FM's Dermot and Dave, Gerry shocked us by saying "nine and a half weeks ago I had never sat in a rowing boat in my life" - and all that Dermot could do was burst out laughing.
This journey of self-discovery has taught him many new things about himself and adds to his "he who has the why has the how" ethos.
The performance coach also chats about the team of novices who are joining him on the adventure and tells us why we must all fit as much into our "900 months" as we can.
