It took two years but seven months ago, Lucy Kennedy and her family became the proud humans of gorgeous 'Riley'.

And they're not the only family in Ireland to welcome a new bundle of fur into the world over the past couple of months. There were over 200,000 dog licenses issued in the past year with many people around Ireland deciding to make the leap during lockdown.
Sadly, there is a dark side to the boom in dog ownership. From puppy farms to owner surrenders, charities are reporting a huge increase in dogs needing their help.
Inspired by her own experience of getting Riley, Lucy has dug into the world of becoming a dog owner and it's documented in a new show 'Lucy's Puppy Problems' on Virgin Media One.
Lucy joined Dermot and Dave to chat about some of the stories she heard and of course, we all got an update on Riley!
