More great Irish music on the way this week.
As Kodaline get ready to release their brand new album on Friday, Mark from the band has spoken about his experience of testing positive with Covid-19.
The lead guitarist confirmed he had Conornavirus back in March, when lockdown was just beginning.
Speaking in an interview at the time he said “I am guessing I may have picked it up two weeks ago in Heathrow because I was in London”. Mark told Dermot & Dave how he had a very, very dry cough and even passed the virus on to one his housemates.
At the time there wasn't much information available for people who were being diagnosed with Covid-19, and Mark says that part was scary. During his chat with Today FM he said "when you read about something and know it’s in your body it’s terrifying"
Mark was on with Dermot & Dave to chat about the new Kodaline album which comes out this Friday.
