Being Grand Marshal that is
We all know Jason Byrne's got talent; not only is he a comedian, author, judge, messer etc., but he has now added another string to his humorous bow in becoming joint Grand Marshal in this year's St. Patrick's Day Parade in Dublin.
Himself and Deirdre O'Kane have been chosen because of their services to Irish comedy, which ties in perfectly with this year's theme of storytelling.
Speaking on Today FM's Dermot and Dave, Jayo cannot hide his excitement, even if he's not really sure what he's meant to be at!
Byrne also has a laugh about his spats with fellow IGT judge Louis Walsh and tells us why Irish radio shows are so much better than Australian ones. Well most of them anyway.
Jason is back in Vicar Street next month (popular demand obvs) with his You Can Come In But Don't Start Anything show, and you can check out what else he's got going on by clicking into jasonbyrne.ie
