As people all across Ireland, and across Europe, rally behind people of Ukraine many of us are left wondering how we can help.
For Andy Smyth, he knew that there were likely thousands of animals who would need his assistance.
Andy, who runs Husky Rescue Ireland, undertook a massive two week campaign which included collecting food and blankets for the pets before driving across Europe to refugee camps to drop off the donations as refugees crossed the border.
The Dubliner was also involved in an incredible rescue campaign which included crossing the border into Ukraine where 53 dogs were taken to safety.
Andy joined Dermot and Dave to explain why he felt the need to go as well as sharing some of what he encountered on his journey.
