Clodagh O'Hagan was on a beach in Croatia on her holidays when she decided that it was time to start trying for a baby. It's a big decision for anyone, but for Clodagh, it was a monumental choice as she was going to go it alone.
While she had known she'd wanted to have a baby since she was in her mid-30s, it was a call from her doctor after she turned 40 that pushed her to make the decision to find a sperm donor and become a solo mother by choice.
After 18 months, Clodagh welcomed baby Frank at the start of May and he's a little dote!
Speaking to Dermot and Dave, Clodagh revisited the long and often heartbreaking road from finding a sperm donor to 'imagining a party in her womb' and how life has been as a new mother in lockdown.
