There's no denying it has been an incredibly tough time for retailers across Ireland. After being closed throughout lockdown one, they're all closed again during the busiest time of year for shops.
There was so much elation back in June when iconic Irish retailer, Penneys, reopened with people queueing up throughout the night to get their hands on their knickers.
But now, they might not need to queue at all. Rumours are afoot that Penneys (or Primark as it's known in the rest of the world) are planning to open 24 hours a day in the run-up to Christmas so we can all make up for lost time.
Dermot and Dave producer Maria Devereux had the latest and we heard from people around the country who were both elated and devastated at the prospect of a 24 hour shopping experience.
