In 2017 the Women’s Australian Football League (AFLW) was founded. Since it's inception, 19 Irish players have been drafted in to play in the league. It's a fantastic opportunity for Irish athletes to play at a professional level and the league is growing in strength each year.
One of those players is Aisling McCarthy from Cahir in County Tipperary who plays for the West Coast Eagles in Perth. Aisling spoke to Dermot and Dave about life down under.
