It's called 'orthosomnia'
A good night's sleep - everyone's dream, but a very hard thing to achieve. So what can we do to make it happen?
Dr Neil Stanley is a sleep expert with over 35 years experience in researching how to get the perfect shuteye and when Dermot and Dave wanted to investigate slumber techniques there was only one man they could call upon.
The lads ask Neil his opinion on things like weighted blankets, CBD oil, ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) and sleeping apps. He has his reservations!
The digital option, which he describes as "not very accurate" can have a very negative effect called 'orthosomnia'. This condition causes people to become obsessed with 'perfect sleep' as opposed to a good night's sleep.
Mr Stanley also has a mind-blowing fact about why the proper mattress make such a difference and explains why we should always keep the window open at night - if even just a few centimetres.
