Game of Thrones has brought a massive boom to Northern Ireland and one lad who taken a little slice of the action is Westmeath man Conor Thompson.
Speaking on Dermot and Dave, Conor tells how he had been doing lots of extra work since leaving college but when the chance to audition for the biggest in the world right now, he couldn't say no;
"Hi Conor, it's such and such from the casting of Game of Thrones wondering can you make it to Belfast tomorrow morning". As a super fan I was like "absolutely"
He also describes the enormity of the production involved and reveals just how tight security is, including tamper-proof stickers for your phone lens.
