The National Monuments Service recently confirmed that log-boats found in the River Boyne in Co. Louth could date back to medieval times..
They were discovered by local man Anthony Murphy who was flying his drone over the river looking for Dolphins and spotted these two boats along near Drogheda Town .. Anthony then decided to give Dr Stephen Davis of the UCD School of Archaeology a call and tell him what he found.
Dr Stephen Davis joined Dermot and Dave to chat about the discovery and if more people could find ancient artefacts using their drones.
