His prized possession since Christmas has been a real-time flight simulator, and he's gone all in on the world of aviation. But there's only one way to really put your skills to the test, and that's to take a lesson from some of Ireland's top experts.
The gang at the Irish Air Corp got in touch, and very kindly, offered Dave a once in a lifetime chance to head out to their base, and have a go at the flight simulator they use to train their pilots.
We're not going to say too much about how Dave fared but he did get an 'A' for effort!
