And is seeking divine inspiration from another powerhouse in Irish music ahead of his 3Arena shows
In what has been a sensational year for the Dublin singer, Dermot Kennedy has just announced more Irish dates for summer 2020.
I’m announcing more Irish dates in 2020!! I'll be hitting up Killarney and since Dublin sold out so fast we’re doing another show in June- tickets on sale next Friday 13 December at 9am local time. I’m so glad we can make this happen! See you there! X. pic.twitter.com/BKcxDHFas5

Speaking on Today FM's Dermot and Dave, Kennedy reveals why he felt compelled to please fans; "considering the first few [gigs] that we're doing next summer sold out so fast, we really wanted to figure something out and play for more people".
"I'm delighted to be honest coz like it's been a while of us just playing gigs in Dublin so it's nice to get around the country", he added.
Dermot plays two more sold out gigs in Dublin's 3Arena this December 22nd & 23rd, so the lads wanted to know how he was prepping for the enormity of them both, to which he replies; "it's gonna be my first time playing an actual full arena so I was thinking of maybe texting sort of the likes of Hozier and just seeing if there's a different way to behave in those places".
You can also catch the 27-year-old belt out his lyrical poetry when he headlines the new Saltwater music festival in Westport, Co. Mayo over the June Bank Holiday weekend next year (May 29th - 31st).
