It's no secret that our very own Dave Moore is one of Ireland's biggest pop fans; I mean the man's heart skips a beat every time he hears a boy band.
And with the Backstreet Boys back in Dublin on Tuesday night, his excitement was in OMG-land.
Howie D, AJ McLean, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson and Brian Littrell were indeed Larger Than Life as they pumped out their classic tunes in the 3arena as part of their DNA World Tour.
Now Dave was there, and had the best time ever, but didn't get the chance to meet the lads as he was gigging at the venue (such a pro).

But thankfully, Dermot and Dave's Seán Reidy was given the opportunity to interview the band and they had a very special message for his buddy.
After chatting about why the group were so successful, Seán revealed Dave's love of heavy metal and how he regards the Backstreet Boys just as highly as Metallica, who he went to see in Slane on Saturday, and Howie had this to say;
it's kinda cool that you would actually put us in the same kinda category of liking the two of us and thanks for keeping the Backstreet pride alive
Dave nearly fainted when he heard the audio.
Reidy also caught up with some American gals who were having the reunion of their life!
