Danny Boyle is responsible for some of the most iconic films of the past 20 years.
Who can imagine a world without the likes of Trainspotting, The Beach, 28 Days Later or Slumdog Millionaire?
Now we have a Boyle and Beatles collaboration to look forward to, with early reviews heaping praise on Boyle’s latest project, and we cannot wait to see it.
Written by Richard Curtis (of Four Weddings and A Funeral/Bridget Jones Diary/Notting Hill/Love Actually fame) and directed by Boyle, Yesterday tells the tale of a struggling musician who realises he's the only person in the world who can remember The Beatles after waking up in an alternate timeline where they never existed.
The movie also features cameos from Ed Sheeran and James Corden, although Boyle told Dermot & Dave he had initially planned for Chris Martin to appear in the movie instead.
Boyle also revealed he would like to direct Rihanna in a future film and spoke about how the remaining Beatles and wives of the Beatles felt about Yesterday when they saw it for the first time.
