For years, Kevin Kilbane dazzled us as he glided gracefully across football fields worldwide. He then gave us all a lift when he turned his hand to broadcasting, before giving DJing a spin. And now...he has taken on a new challenge:

With the news breaking during the week, Dermot and Dave wanted to get the inside scoop from their buddy.
The ex-Ireland international is chewing at the bit to get started and isn't afraid to admit that he's in it to win it saying, "I've got that competitive streak in me too".
"It's something to get me disciplined for a few months"
Having turned the opportunity down a couple of times before, Kilbane decided 2020 was his year to shine on the ice, but he is conscious of potential injury, "My back is the worry. I finished playing with my back so I'm going to have to do plenty of core work".
He then explains how he is going to have to juggle life between Ireland and the UK up until Christmas, and has the honour of meeting his evil twin - Dermot Whelan's 'Kevin Kilbane' (and his ice cream van).
Dancing on Ice hits the rink in January and will be available to watch on ITV & Virgin Media One.
