The county Down man called in for a catch-up with Dermot and Dave this morning and the lads were in knots the whole way through.
You'll know Colin from featuring on the likes of The Panel and presenting The Blizzard of Odd, as well as his thousands of appearances on comedy stages across Ireland over the past 25 years.
Well now he's back with his first tour in 8 years, The Bald Ambition, which is a celebration of his quarter of a century on the comedy scene.
There was lots more to chat about as he huffed about the "jokey presents" he received for his landmark birthday, told us what it really feels like turning the big 5-0, how his tour is a nod to Madonna (they've a lot in common), why he hates en suites and how he really does know Spiderman's dad.
Oh, and there was the little matter of his midlife crisis - taking on a half-marathon for charity. He's a hero on top of it all - what a guy!!
The Bald Ambition Tour kicks off on in Westport on 28th September and includes dates at Whelan’s in Dublin and Cork’s Everyman Theatre.
The show covers diverse topics as Conor McGregor, 21st century sex, being pitied by the homeless and Brexit.
The show sold out 14 dates in Northern Ireland earlier this year.
