ELECTRIC is a new play written by Dubliner Ali Hardiman, who also stars in the light-hearted comedy alongside her real-life BFF Ericka Roe.

The show centres around two Dublin gals, Joni and Scarlett, who by an act of fate meet in the queue for the jacks at Electric Picnic.

With the ladies being from two very different ends of the capital's spectrum, ELECTRIC takes us on a sociological rollercoaster, where barriers are broken down and stereotypes are thrown out the tent window - all amidst festival fever at Stradbally. So get your glow sticks ready!

ILA Productions are bringing ELECTRIC to the Smock Alley Theatre's Boys' School venue from the 18th-23rd of March.

It's a vibrant, feel-good story with an important message at the core. A 'womance' with a difference.

Ali Hardman chats to Pamela Joyce (who's covering on Dermot and Dave this week) about what punters can expect and tells us just how autobiographical the tale is.

And you can find out more about Ali and her upcoming shows/tours by clicking here.

Check out the fun in full by pressing the play button on screen.
